This is a follow up to my last post. I reached out to the person who had tweeted at me the other day about my Alpha Males post in a DM. I explained I believed they had misunderstood me and they very graciously responded to me they had and removed the tweet.
It’s a reminder that behind every Twitter account (well, other than bots), there is a real person back there, bringing their experiences, their life stories, and their understanding of things to social media. Twitter moves so fast and people have access to so much information from people they do not know, it’s quite easy to misunderstand each other and it happens daily. I took a risk with the DM as most people don’t want to hear from strangers privately, but it turned out well.
Be kind to people. It rarely does not pay off.
